Terminal Facility Construction – SUE Services

TBS provided SUE Level A services in order to assist in the installation of sonotubes within an extremely congested facility in Louisiana. The installation was designed within a valve site, which itself is located inside the facility. Due to the lack of reliable record data as well as the congestion present, the project engineer needed verification prior to letting the project to construction. TBS crews first scanned the proposed site electronically and identified clear areas. The crews then utilized vacuum excavation equipment to probe and excavate, verifying that the proposed sonotube locations were clear. As a result, the engineer was able to move forward with only minor alterations to the design and the sonotubes were installed without incident.
