The candidate must have 7-10 years experience with project development work processes. Which includes the development and design of projects which will consist of the plans, specification and estimates. Develop feasible design alternatives and compare significant parameters such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements and cost. Identify and analyze the principle design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project’s purpose and need.
Responsibilities include:
Thorough knowledge of current principles and practices of engineering as related to the design and construction of onshore and offshore pipelines.
Applies knowledge and expertise acquired through progressive experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions.
Serves as the technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in the field of pipelines. Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the company for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications. Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Ocean Engineering, with P.E.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Coastal Engineer Houma, LA, Baton Rouge/Prairieville, LA, Lafayette, LA
Experience in the evaluation and design of coastal engineering projects. B.S. in engineering with 5 years experience or M.S. in Coastal Engineering, with strong working knowledge and proven success record with marinas/waterfront development, wetland and coastal analysis, navigation/dredging/disposal, hydraulic model testing and habitat restoration required. Civil/structural and practical civil engineering background a plus.

Minimum requirements include registration with Louisiana State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Experience and interest in civil / environmental fields preferred. Must also be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to operate AutoCAD and other related computer software, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, GIS experience a plus.
Offshore Geophysical Operators & Assistants Houma, LA; Houston, TX
Personnel are needed for offshore positioning geophysical operations working primarily in the northern Gulf of Mexico waters. Knowledge and experience preferred but not necessary in operating gradiometers, sonar equipment, fathometers, GPS, computers, sub-bottom profilers, etc. To perform offshore block surveys, pipeline inspection surveys, pipeline pre-lay and as-built surveys, offshore well location surveys, and complete hazard and geophysical surveys.
Survey Party Chief, Instrument Operator, Survey Aid Thibodaux, LA, Lafayette, LA, Baton Rouge/Prairieville, LA
3-5 years experience with operation of electronic distance measuring equipment and other surveying instruments. Boundary, topo layout experience is required.
