In 1913, when engineering graduate T. Baker Smith, C.E. founded the professional services firm that now bears his name, his home of Terrebonne Parish in Louisiana had no paved streets, the Mississippi River and Bayou Lafourche still swelled their banks during spring flooding, and the oil and gas industry was embarking on an
amazing journey.
Over the years, T. Baker Smith, Inc. (TBS) has grown and strengthened to provide a wide array of professional services
to exceed the needs of the equally expanding industries and government agencies in our ever-changing region.
